Hello all, I'm new to this site with a 58 F-100 292 Y-block (Auto); which my wife and I have had for several years.  I'm trying to track down an oil leak and am unsure of what I am looking at.  There's a pick up tube coming from the oil pan to some sort of pump located on the driver side of the engine compartment.  I was hoping someone could tell me what this part is.  I dont think its a remote filter or cooler as theres a screw on filter just above the oil pan.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
