hey guys. I am hoping that you can tell me what i got. I bought a 4bbl manifold off of ebay and was advertised as a ecz-9425-b. when I got it, the first thing i did was verify that it was a B manifold and it is but here is where it gets bewildering. the carb mounting flange does notlook like the holley type carb spacer. it looks like the teapot flange. is it possible to have a b manifold with a teapot carb flange?

I'm afraid there is also an ECB-9425-B that has the teapot base. At the passenger side of the carb base is a good sized opening for the choke????? Use a wire brush on the part number lettering and re-check the last letter of the prefix. Maybe if incorrectly listed - you might return it?????

Is the F-Code intake a unique casting or a B intake machined differently?

The F code is EDB-D, used only on the supercharged engines. It has both bolt patterns on it.

64f100 - Check out Speedway Motors p/n 1351935B - $20 Just make sure you smooth up the edges under the throttle blades when you mount everything.

Oops! F code is EDB-F, not D. D is the head designation. Brain fade. Old timers. Sorry.

1964; If the intake isn't what was advertised, I don't know why you are not asking to return it? You can register a complaint with e bay if refused.. looking for an Autolite carb, try a Mustang club, or if you want a rebuilt, try Pony Carburetors in N.Y. state. However, they like to get a core or they charge extra..
