I'm running a 66-70 Mustang steering box in my roadster. Since the 4 bar front end swap it seems to have a bit too much slop. The adjustment screw on the access plate is messed up. Looks like someone hit it with a cutting torch. I can't seem to get it to do anything. Are there any specific tricks to this box? I was thinking about taking a 1/4 turn on the big nut that the shaft passes through. Are these boxes hard to rebuild? Thanks, Chuck

Y's guys rule!
Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.
