Hi, I have a '57 ford ranchwagon, running a 292, in the UK, and have just notice that the temp sender wiring is broken. There is a red and white wire trailing off from the loom, but where do these wires go to? i guess that the red one goes to the post on the sender, but where does the white one go? Many thanks Simon.

I believe the white one goes to the oil pressure switch located on the lower left side of the engine.

As expected the Hoosier Hurricaine is correct. It goes to the oil light. Good luck. MIKE
