As expected the Hoosier Hurricaine is correct.  It goes to the oil light.  Good luck. MIKE

I believe the white one goes to the oil pressure switch located on the lower left side of the engine.

Hi,

I have a '57 ford ranchwagon, running a 292, in the UK, and have just notice that the temp sender wiring is broken.  There is a red and white wire trailing off from the loom, but where do these wires go to?  i guess that the red one goes to the post on the sender, but where does the white one go?

Many thanks

Simon.
