I will be looking at a couple 292 short blocks this weekend. One is a C2AE-6015C and the other is a ECZ-6015A. Over the phone, the owner said the main caps were EBU for both blocks.
My questions are:
Is there a chance one of these could have a steel crank? If so, How do i identify a steel vs. cast crank?
Is there anything else about these blocks i should be looking for?
