The guys I know with this cam are not running to much on the street but yes at the strip. My cam is a little smaller and is on the ragged edge for the street with a 6 speed tranny and 352 cubes out of a 312. If I ever change the cam I'm pulling it down to 246 @ .050 intake and leaving it at .250 @ .050 ex. and spreading the lobe sep out to 111. it's now at 110.

What vehicle is it going in? In a heavy car, you would be disappointed. In a light car you could learn to live with it.

Is that the one that just went off eBay? Its supposed to be one of Isky"s "hardfaced overlay" bumpsticks. If its the eBay one and it truely is hardfaced overlay it wont last at all on the street. Oldmics

I have a 505T in the Falcon engine and I sure wouldn't want to try to drive it on the street. Idles at around 1000 rpm in neutral, but once you drop it in gear you have to hold the brake and raise the rpm some. I have a 3500 stall converter and most likely should go to 4500. It sure sounds good, but it would be a bear on the street. With that said, I'm sure someone has done it.

If you're wanting to drive it on the street, forget it. This is more of a street and strip cam with a somewhat larger engine displacement. In a 292 or 312 race engine in a lightweight it should work ok. The 3500 to 7000 tells you right off it's not for the street. Where are you wanting to go with the 292? What bore, what stroke, the desired cubic inches etc.
