Outlaw56 (1/27/2013)
I have a 56 Ford F-100, 292 with benstens adopter to AOD. Engine is mounted in front at stock mount location and rear of AOD Crossmember frame rail to frame rail. I am in the process of adding engine mounts to both sides of the engine block. I have ram horn exhaust,Howdy,
I am doing something similar. 292, Rams Horns, Bentsen Adapter, E4OD, side engine mounts and rear E4OD mount under the tail-mounted parking brake unit.
I made my own mounts using square Cummins (Dodge) engine mounts. It appears I'll be putting a little bend in the exhaust pipe where it comes off the manifold and then I'll have to drop down under the frame a bit more than normal. I have a LOT more ground clearance than you do though. [F-600 with 9.00-20 tires

Cheers,
Rick
