I just got my Bendtsen kit to install AOD/ I pick up trans wed /my ? is can installed be done with out pulling engine ?

Sure it could be done that way, anythings possible- but seems more difficult to me.

Other than grinding the transmission case for starter clearence it shouldn't be any different than changing a transmission. You will have to fab up a transmission mount and drive shaft. Chuck

Lot of variables depending on what motor you have and what transmission your AOD is replacing.

Outlaw56 (3/21/2013) Lot of variables depending on what motor you have and what transmission your AOD is replacing.I'll agree with that! I have bolted my 292/E4OD together and took it apart so many times that I wouldn't even think of doing again it without having the engine out and sitting on a pallet etc!! I still need to fabricate the cross piece!
