My 55 had some splash pans and was wondering if they are necessary,I took them off when I rebuilt the front suspension and they never got back on and have been laying under the bench in the garage for about 10 years so its time to do something with them. I am cleaning them up to paint and will put them back on but curious if they did ant good except for catching bolts and tools that were dropped,if the pans do not go back on they will get bent up or lost plus its a little project to get me out of the house.
