The C2AE from the big truck does have the steel crank, ready to fire it now. Haven't pulled the pan on the B9AE merc engine yet to make sure its a 312. But hoping!

That engine probably was in a truck with air brakes and the triple belts ran the air compressor.

I think it must have run some big power steering and plow pump or something on a big truck which must have leaked because the whole motor is covered in oil and we scratched our heads as to why until I realized whatever they were running for accessories must have leaked to do that. Did get the first motor running and it runs great, now to find if its a 312! The next one being a C2AE from a big truck could possibly have the steel crank! Will find these things out tomorrow!

Pretty sure its a bolt on 3 sheeve pulley that has been bolted to a regular single sheeve balancer. Not a blower part. The original A.C. cars have 3 sheeves and are not a bolt on. I have a 3 sheeve A.C. balancer if interested. Oldmics

Must have been a AC car. I was looking for one of those for a blower drive setup. I want to try to run the vintage style 3 belt drive to the 4-71 supercharger. Chuck
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Picked up a couple complete motors yesterday, both free and supposed to run, Ill be putting them on the test stand today and firing them up. Question is one of them has a double sheive and then another shieve in front of that a little smaller diameter with provision for 3 narrower belts. What were those for? Is that a supercharger pulley? One is a B9AE with the green Merc valve covers so hopefully its a 312, however they both came out of trucks.
