I bought this y-block distributor a while back. It does not have any distributor breaker plate(s). I am having a hard time finding the correct breaker plate(s) for this distributor.
Just to let you know that this distributor B9FA-12127-A is not the same as B9AF-12127-A. The B9AF distributor has 2 flat sort of semi-circular plates (upper and lower). The part nos. for these distributor plates are B9AF-12151-A and B9AF-12151-B. The lower plate is attached to the distributor bowl with 2 screws. The inside of the bowl has 2 "threaded lobes" that the screws seat into holding the plate inside the bowl.
The distributor B9FA-12127-A does not have the 2 threaded lobes inside the bowl. It only has a ridge/ledge along the inside bottom of the bowl. This ridge/ledge is located somewhat below the distributor weights attached to the upper cam so that I think the breaker plate has to be dome-shaped. I do not know how it is held in place. Does anyone know anything about this B9FA-12127-A distributor? Does it have 2 plates as most other yblock distributors. What are the part nos. of breaker plates.
