I read back thru the PVC Conversion Thread to look for answers. I did not find an option that seemed possible. I want to block off the road draft tube. If I remember correctly, NAPA sells a plate and gasket that will do this. I have a previous valley pan that has a groumet and baffle which will take a PVC valve. Once I swap the valley pan and plug in the PVC Valve to the groumen in the valley cover, where can I plug the other end of the hose to? How many options are there? I have a 272 with a two barrel stock carb, I dont see any place to connect it there.

The factory setup on '64 trucks used a threaded port in the manifold at the forward base of the carb. If you can find a carb spacer with a vacuum port, it makes a short connection to the pcv valve. If you can locate a '64 truck in a boneyard you might get the oem package.

OK Mark, part of my problem is stock 2 barrel intake (ECWS425). Carberator something added later but no port for PVC. I do see some kind of a vent into the intake but its not plugged, so probably is used for something else. Ill look at that option again. Thanks.

2 barrel carb spacers with a suitable nipple for connecting to a PCV were produced by FoMoCo in the tens (hundreds) of thousands.  These were used on their standard V-8 car and truck engines. They are easy to find at the wrecking yard of your choice.  They also turn up on ebay, swap meets and yard sales all the time.

I had no idea. So using a donar valley pan with the hole and baffle for a pvc and finding one of these carb spacers will work. I just plug the pvc valve into the groumet in the valley pan and the other end into the carb spacer with a nipple? Sounds doable. Thanks for the tip. Any recommendations on a good choice in PVC Valves?

Do you have the original 2 barrel which is fastened to the manifold with 3 bolts or a newer 2 barrel which is fastened with 4 bolts?
I think gekko is talking about the newer 4 bolt style.

"Any recommendations on a good choice in PVC Valves"

Once you get the plumbing sussed out all you need is a valve for an engine of similar displacement. I use a (Gawd help me) GM valve sized for a 305 on my 292. It just needs to be a tight fit in the grommet. Also you should baffle it on the underside of the valley pan to prevent sucking too much oil up.
