Howdy all, I'm getting ready to make up my exhaust system using ceramic coated Rams Horns on my largely stock 292.

Hi RickIf you are using Mummerts ram horns check the outlet diam.  I'm setting up a temporary exhaust for a test bed and assumed the outlet diam. to be 2" (I know measure 3...4....5 times cut/ spend money once)  so it came as a surprise to find 2" pipe falls right in. The outlet is nearer 2-1/8".    So 2-1/4" would give a nice step of 1/16" in the right direction but check bolt clearance as the bolt fixing  centres is 3".  I had to make my own flanges as I could not find any 2 bolt on 3" centres.good luck with the projectstuey

2" will be more than adequate.  Also, larger than 2" will not fit the flange if it is the same as original manifolds.

I recently purchased a set of Johns manifolds and he sold me a set of flanges to go with them..  The I.D.  is 2.135"   for 2"  I.D. exhaust tubing..

The flanges were not listed on his site. But I asked when I purchased manifolds on 8-4-2014   . They were on my receipt on a separate line with no part # ..  the pair was 25.00   ..They are 3/8" thick and nicely made ..
