I'm putting the chrome trim back on my Vicky and have a question. On the front fender spear the rear fastener is in a place that I can't figure out how to get to it. The new trim set has a clip with a bolt and needs a nut on the back. I can't reach it, can't see it and don't see a way to access it. HELP! There must be a trick to it that I'm missing. Chuck

I replaced mine. As I remember the test fit the nuts/screws then tightened them with either a ignition wrench while hold the headlight rim in my hand. Are yours nuts or screws.?. If they are screws bottom out a nut tight on the screw and then use the ignition wrench on it...good luck

I was able to get the front ones by removing the headlight. The problem is on the other end by the door. Chuck

Looking at the fenders I have here, the end ones by the door are snap in clips, otherwise it looks like you would have to pull the fender out to get at it if you are using nut and bolt because it is right below the center fender mounting bolt that bolts the fender to the pillar. The end door ones are behind the rubber door seal, hope you didnt install your seals already! I can text you a pic of it!

Thanks Bill. I was wondering about that. I bought a set of new clips and they were all bolt on. Other than this last one the set worked out perfectly. I can see where this one requires a snap in. I'll see what I can find. Chuck

On my 54, I had to use a push in clip for the last fender clip.
