I've had one for probably 15 years now, possibly over 25K miles, driven year round, without a single problem.

The transmission does not matter. I think I paid $129, but like I said, probably 15 years ago so what I paid is irrelevant now. I have a 5 spd. Where'd you see 3 speed?

I clicked on the picture of your truck and your profile came up and that's where I saw three speed.......
Isn't the flywheel number of teeth number a different count on the auto vs standard tranny?

Oh, indeed it does. That info is way out of date, probably also from about 15 years ago. I'll need to update.

I'll second what Charlie said. Mine's the same age, never a problem. I've used it on a 3 speed manual and an automatic without any problems for 12-13 years.
