I have a mini starter, (not sure it's the same brand) that is held on by two bolts with no problems. been on over ten years. DryLakesRacer (4/5/2017)
Thanks. I've often wondered about the use of 2 cap screws instead of 3 and the gear running off the front of the ring gear instead of the back side also.

Again, no problems in about 15 years, on a daily, year round driver.

I'll second what Charlie said. Mine's the same age, never a problem. I've used it on a 3 speed manual and an automatic without any problems for 12-13 years.

I clicked on the picture of your truck and your profile came up and that's where I saw three speed.......
Oh, indeed it does. That info is way out of date, probably also from about 15 years ago. I'll need to update.
