I am in the the process of tearing down a 272 from a 57 Ford. I have the heads off with no promblems but can not bust the bolt loose that holds the balancer on.

Any sugestions before I get out the 6 foot pipe to put over the breaker bar?  Maybe heat it up with the torch?
