I am assuming the gear on a T-10 is the same as a T-85 & the driven gear goes to the top of the steel drive gear. A gear from older transmissions are the same diameter but will turn backwards since they go to the bottom of the steel (inside) gear. I think all of them have 7 teeth.

I need the whole barrel for a T-85 3 speed O.D. All I have in my tail shaft is a hole! I need the whole thing.
I'm not familiar with your terminology. 'Barrel'? Clarify . . . some T-85 parts I've got. Regards,

James: Sorry about the delay. I sent a PM to you with my address, but now I find no evidence that it was ever sent. I'll get the gear in the mail today. The Priority flat rate postage is now $5.20. John Feistritzer, 800 N. CR 700 E., Selma, IN 47383.

Hoosier Hurricane (1/2/2011)
Ol Ford Nut: Sorry, I failed to see the edited version of your post about the location of the gear relative to the shaft, so I didn't realize you wanted the gear. I'll take $10 for the gear, flat rate postage will be $4.95. Again, I'm sorry I dropped the ball here. HH- We seem to have a failure to communicate here. You asked for my address and I sent it to you requesting what you wanted. You have never given me your address so I assumed when the gear arrived I would get it off the package. Since I haven't received the gear I now think you are waiting for payment in advance. No problem, but I have no idea where to send it.

Hoosier Hurricane (11/26/2010) I found a gear from an OD trans, 7 teeth, steel, probably a B7A-C with RH helix. It is 1 3/8 bore. The book shows the C2AZ-B as a steel 7 tooth, no reference to helix or shaft diameter. If you think this B7A gear will work, send me a mailing address.John- Were you sending the gear you found?

I'll have to go look but I believe the T-10 is below the output. Well- I checked, and the speedo cable is above the output shaft. Not the first time I have been wrong!

Received your PM. The cable is on the driver's side, enters above the output shaft. The way I see it, changing to below the shaft would reverse the direction the driven gear turns, would also require the opposite helix on the driven gear.
