I am in need of some help with my Firehouse Project, me along with 3 other members are in the process of repairing our 1957 Ford F-800 Firetruck which was towed back to the house with a broken camshaft, cracked block and Bent valves. The engine we had in the Truck was a 317ci Lincoln Y block, it is not the original 368 but it did the job. We now cannot locate any Lincoln Y blocks in our area and only have Ford Y blocks to choose from.. Will a 312 Y block bolt up to our Bellhousing, or are the Patterns Different from the Lincoln to Ford?
