I thought the engine guys would get a kick out of this, I know I did. A 91 year old gentelman came into our shop last week and wanted to know if we could bore an engine for him, I said "Yes, what kind of engine?"
Well here is what he brought in. It's a 1902 Rambler, single cylinder OHV, 5" bore 6" stroke (117ci is what I came up with) He said it was hard to start and needed to have a new oversize piston. We didn't have one on the shelf, and Egge couldn't make one with the correct comp. hieght, it's probably only 4:1 as it is. So it gets a sleeve and a new set of rings.
