I guess they think its good business. There only going to offer it if it makes a profit for them. There must be enough new Y Block requests to bring it on. I like it! Oldmics

It is a good thing, just surprised because of what Jr. has said about Y-Blocks in the past.
Edelbrock reproducing the 94 should be a good thing for guys that already have 94's because they claim to have the "correct power valves". Doesn't look like they have primary and secondary carbs tho...

A new Y block manifold is far more than I ever expected. It does say something about the popularity resurgence in the last 5 or so years. I don't see a price for the new 94's. Does anyone have info on what they will cost?

Talked to Edelbrock and they said the realistic dates are June-Aug for the primary. Secondary carb will be based on interest and is being taken out of their catalogs. The intake days was last 3rd quarter which means 4th quarter. No prices were established according to the guy I talked to. He did say he was at some show and was suprised by all the Y blocks there. Maybe Vic is starting to see the light.

It's weird that they'll offer 3 deuce intakes but no secondary carbs. Seems like secondaries will sell 2 to 1.

Maybe they feel they can charge more for the primary because of the choke, power valve, idle circuit, etc; and let you convert them yourself. OR you could run three primarys. I'm running three Stromberg 97's that are all the same except for choke removed from end carbs, sound like the same as Ted is going to run in the "Great Texas Y-Block Three Deuce Shoot-Out Test and Dyno Flog".
With that new manifold it sure would look nice with a new Aluminum Thermostat Housing???

it'll look great if they reproduce the finned valve covers too!
(a valley plate would be a nice touch too)
