Tom: If you can't find one elsewhere, there's an outfit in the East that advertises in H.M.N., that has vintage auto trans parts. Don't have the address in front of me but his name is Edwards. Or try on the web under transmissions.

BIGREDTODD (2/4/2010) It isn't difficult to find a matching set of 94 style carbsThen again, only the secondaries ought to really be identical. My dear old dad used to run a plymouth fury and he had three totally different carburettors on it...or at least, the primary was a lot different and the secondaries were pretty close to each other, I think one had a higher flow than the other. It's just a matter of how much patience you have for tuning.

Given the multitude of original 94's, and the derivatives, I think their price point will realistically be in the low to mid-$300 range for them to sell any... It isn't difficult to find a matching set of 94 style carbs, even this many years down the road. I have a set of (6) ECG 1 1/16" throat carbs that I assembled sort of on a lark...I never go to a swap meet where I could find at least a dozen for under $30-40 each. I also isn't difficult to polish the markings off so they "match"... just my 2 cents

Bob,
That is a good thing for original 94 owners. Charlie Price at Vintage Speed has a full set of rebuild kits plus he has been offering new power valves that he has modified to fit the early 94's.

Mark, I see Edlebrock list a rebuild kit (that includes the correct Power Valve) for the new 94 plus it states that it will also work on Holley 94's. Which indicates that the parts will interchange.
On a side note the New Stromberg 97 parts work on all old 97's and most parts work on the 48's.

Sorry...what I meant was the Holley power valve problem continued into the "modern" era (1957 to 1990's?) carbs built by Holley.

MarkMontereyBay (2/3/2010) Might be interesting to determine one of these "blow-proof" kits could be adapted to an original 94. I never understood why Holley let the blown power valve problem go on for so long.
Mark HebardBecause they haven't made them since ~1957?
