Finished the blower top! Ready for blasting. I reckon it looks sweet, I am really happy with the way it has turned out. Sorry gave false info, almost finished it, still gotta put the mounting holes in and open the carb throats out.

Didn't really think it out, but it was probably a waste of time polishing that valley cover! It'll all be hidden.

So I polished it anyway... Looked good off the car, almost like an old chrome job. But put it on and i am going to blast it! Doesn't look right! Painted and re polished the valley cover, only to find it needed heaps of modifications just to make it fit not to mention get in there! Started to weld the base in the manifold but got stuck so started on the carb plate top.

The crank pulley is almost completely hidden by all the other front of engine stuff. It may not be worth the effort to polish it. Then again what can be seen will look great. Check the valley cover for clearence with the heads on. Most of them can't be removed with the heads installed but if you grind a relief in the cover by the intake runners you can make it removable without affecting the seal. Chuck Any thoughts on pulley production? I'm planning to put a 4-71 on mine.
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Found my valley cover, gave it a quick polish on high edges. Started to blast the crank pulley, but not sure I like it? So I polished half..... What do you guys reckon polished, blasted or as machined (as in pics earlier), just to take into account, the blower and top stuff will be blasted only.... time is of the essence here!

Here is a little more, keyed the crank hub, finished the port plates and bolted them on (I stuffed up the fist set) and started marking out the blower top for the 6 carbs. Little far spaced but I like the menacing home made look this spacing has with the carbs on.

Definitely needs more than 4 carbs! Looks good for a hot rod motor, but I'm trying to make it look like a purposeful race car?!? Nearly forgot I had these covers, nows as good a time as any to put them on! Just gotta find my finned valley cover now....

Very nice workmanship. You're very fortunate to have that equipment and those skills.
